The writer talks here about the adventures of his childhood with his brothers and friends. At a time before children spend hours watching television, on the computer and going to the park. Adventures seemed different when these children lived a different kind of childhood that challenged their imagination to rise to a different level. They pretended to be soldiers because they played the army in the forest. Life seemed simpler at that time until it reached great things.
