SPOILER. Looking at the movie recommendations below definitely brings me back in time when movies were good. for those who don’t see what I see it’s Tomb Raider,King along,The day after a tomorrow,Independence Day,Blade. And Blade 2,The Mummy Returns and the Scorpion King.Injust got in the mood to watch this classic film and I just love the chemistry you can feel it thru the screen,sad story what happened to Brandon Frazier with the whole sa stuff,but I’m glad he’s making a comeback..Haven’t seen the whale yet but I want to.For those of you who haven’t seen these films,if your a history lover of ancient Egyptian then this film is perfect for you.I don’t know how much is historically accurate but we watch films to be entertained not to learn history..so be careful with what you believe..look up the facts this is mostly a fictional story.With some truth mostly the mummification methods and stuff.But anyway sorry to ramble this one and the mummy returns are purely beautiful,comical and very enter.I suggest watching these first two but don’t go beyond that,they changed out Evey and it’s no chemistry,the kid was an adult and even though they had my two favorite actors when I was younger Michelle Yu and Jet Li, the story was just too over the top with the yetis and the immortal life and it may have been more of the cgi work but it was horrible. Least they kept Johnathan hoping he was the big money maker comedic relief but nope.Always hard to make a second and third film that’s really perfect and keeps the same energy as the first and second, but there’s only a few that have done it,the most recent was the John Wick films..Ooo I thought when I watched the first I was like “killing over a dog?” But I watched it and holy smokes Keanu is Back on top since the Matrix,the 2came out I’m holding my breathe but incredible work same energy then the 3rd I’m thinking “they can’t reproduce the same level as the first two”*open mouth insert foot cuz they done it.I am so excited for the newest John Wick film bc they always bring some amazing scenes and imagery to the films wether it be the glass room with the ninjas or Halle berry and the dogs,the gun store with the act of grabbing whatever could be seen to use as a weapon (that beautiful scene Keanu is putting together a gun reminds me of this old western where the man puts the gun chamber to his ear and listens! ?sorry I’m off topic,I usually have horrible tastes in movies due to starting with sci-fi channel as a kid but I think I’ve gotten better at them
