Ode to Joy

A comedy film about the story of a man named Charlie, a person suffering from a strange disease called inertia, a symptom of narcolepsy that causes sudden bouts of paralysis. A person suffers from paralysis in the event of strong feelings, especially feelings of happiness. In order to get a new cure, Charlie developed a variety of techniques to deprive himself of much happiness. In the end, Charlie seems to fail to do so as he passes the final test when he falls in love.
